April Improvements Roundup

April brings smarter fault detection, improved diagnostic tools, and a range of usability upgrades across the platform.

Bearing Database Expansion: A shared bearing database is now available to all users directly in Multiviz. Simply search for your bearing, select it, and start using it in your analysis immediately. No manual entry required.

Ski Slope Detection: A new measurement-quality check on velocity spectra automatically flags the characteristic "ski slope" shape — a tall low-frequency hump that rolls off into the rest of the band. This pattern typically indicates a corrupted measurement or sensor mounting issue rather than a real fault, so you can act on trustworthy data and avoid chasing phantom problems.

Peak Score on the Envelope: The jump-on-peak-score algorithm now runs on the envelope peak score, just as it already does on RMS. This catches developing failures earlier in their lifecycle — especially bearing faults, where the envelope picks up the first signs well before the broadband signal reacts.

Single Cursor Diamond Indicator: A small diamond marker now appears at the exact point where the single cursor is placed, making it much easier to read precise amplitude and frequency values directly from the plot.

Disconnection Indicator on Measuring Points: The disconnection icon and tooltip from the Home priority table now also appear on per-measuring-point and per-sensor timestamps inside the asset drawer. Operators can spot stale readings without having to leave the drawer.

General Improvements

  • Faster load times across Multiviz.
  • Improved asset tree search — quicker to find the asset you're looking for.
  • FFT plot now works on smaller screens, so analysis is no longer tied to a large monitor.
