Using the Bearing Database

Bearing faults show up at characteristic fault frequencies that depend on the bearing's geometry. MultiViz includes a bearing database so you can match spectrum peaks against the fault frequencies of the exact bearing mounted on your machine.

Find your bearing in the shared database

A shared bearing database is available to all users directly in MultiViz. Search for your bearing, select it, and start using it in your analysis immediately — no manual entry required.

Fault frequencies in your analysis

Once a bearing is selected, its specific characteristics and fault frequencies can be used to identify bearing faults in the spectrum.
